On Sunday morning, little man woke up while I was getting ready, so he got to accompany me in the bathroom. I was drying my hair and I think he was trying to outdo the dryer. He was just staring at himself in the mirror and squealing/grunting so loud. I just couldn't quit laughing at him. It was hilarious to watch. I wish these pictures had sound. His eyes are always so funny in the morning anyways because he always has that tired look for awhile and he had some extra wild hair. Oh how I love this boy!

First Concert
Last night we took Noah to his first Effingham County Fair. Some of our friends were opening up for Chris Cagle so we went to see them perform. I wasn't really sure how Noah would do with the loud music and the heat. He was great though, the weather was much better than I thought and he was happy as he could be. It got to be way past bedtime and past a feeding but he was really content listening to the music and walking around the fair with all the bright lights. It was a great evening out! I forgot to take hardly any pictures so they aren't the best but at least we have a couple.

What Noah's doing at 6 months
Ever since Noah was born I have been meaning to do this each month and I have always forgotten. Well it's a little late but I'm going to start it now anyways and hopefully will remember to do it each month after this.
At 6 months, Noah is
Eating solid foods, and absolutely loves them.
Sits up unassisted
Rolling around like crazy
Drooling alot, his toys are always drenched
Loves grabbing his legs and feet while laying down
Trying to eat his toes
Sleeping better at night
Still wakes up at night, but doesn't eat until morning
Is very ticklish
Still growing like crazy
Getting crazy hair
Loving bathtime
Going down great for naps
Over 20 lbs
Loves sitting on his changing table and looking outside, there is lots of green out there (his favorite color)
Starting to reach out to people
Loves licking/sucking on my shoulder for some reason
Loving being 6 months, he has been such a happy boy
and my favorite,
Fake coughs/ laughs for attention.. I don't know where he got it but it cracks me up. If I'm not paying attention to him he will do and sometimes there might be 4 people paying attention to him and he will still just look at you and do it too. He's becoming quite the character. Its been amazing to watch him grow these last 6 months. He is really just starting to figure things out and never ceases to make us laugh and smile every day. He has truly captured our hearts!

6 Months
Six months has been such a wonderful age. Our little mister has been such a happier boy lately. He does better going places, playing at home, and excitingly at night also. We have got him to quit eating at night. It took awhile because I decided to try to do it slowly. So every couple nights I would decrease what he got by an ounce. We had got down to 2 and then he made it one night without waking. I knew he could do it after that, so I decided we were done feeding him. The next couple nights when he would get up I would try the pacifier, which ended up just making him more mad. But we would try and console him then let him cry a little. If he threw a fit after awhile I would just give him water. That didn't last too many nights and then he would wake up but he would take a pacifier instead. We still have most nights where he cries and I give him has pacifier probably at least once. He has turned into quite the rolly pollie, so he moves a lot in his sleep. I think when he hits the side of the bed sometimes and he is on his stomach it wakes him. Overall we are doing much better there, I am starting to get more sleep, still not perfect since I'm still waking throughout the night and having to get up but definetly an improvement.
I love watching Noah sit up and play. He just cracks me up, I can't get enough of him. The way he moves around the floor when he is laying down is fun to watch as well. He is such a wiggle worm. He will roll and roll and roll and get himself stuck against everything since he only likes to roll one way. He isn't scooting yet, he does get up on his knees sometimes but then he uses them to roll over, so he hasn't made any progress there. A couple times I have propped him up on his knees and elbows and he just laughs. For some reason it's funny. He also likes when you roll him over as well. We are just having so much fun with him lately.
He is now eating food at all three meals. He still takes all his bottles and in all the same amounts, so that is good, he is just a hungry boy. We still haven't found anything he doesn't like. He sure isn't a picky kid when it comes to eating, he will eat anything.
Anyways this last month has just been the best since Noah has been so much happier and I think we are adjusting to parenthood more as well! I know they are just going to keep getting better and better and I look forward to that.

Great Deal
I have been wanting to get another convertible car seat since we are getting ready to switch Noah this week or next to a big boy car seat. I figured we would need one to just leave at the house so whenever people were watching him or if Matthew needed to take him somewhere we wouldn't have to worry about always taking the main one out of my car. I know they are a lot harder to switch than the infant seats. I have looked for some at garage sales and online but hadn't bought anything yet. Then this weekend I was at Matthew's grandparents and his cousin had mentioned Kmart had a sale where the car seats were all $35 off. I forgot about it yesterday and just made it there this morning. Well I didn't see any signs that they were still having that sale but I did see that some were on clearance. There was one that was orginally 139.99 and it was on clearance for 54.99. I thought that was a really good deal so I took it up to the counter. The clerk rang it up and told me my total was 29.81. I was like what did you say? She said 29.81 again, I was very excited. So today I think I got quite the bargain, apparently it was marked down even more to $27.99 . Now we are all set for the big car seat move!

So Big
Yesterday I sat Noah down while I went and got dressed before we left for church. As he sat there I just looked and him and couldn't believe how big my little boy is getting!
