A Little Late

Noah likes to do things to surprise us sometimes.  Tonight Matthew had some of the Reality youth over for small groups and they were all sitting at the bar having some snacks and I had put out the cupcakes from Noah's bday party last Saturday (their last chance before they hit the trash).  He decided he wanted one today after not even touching it at his birthday so I put it in front of him and away he went.  He started dipping his fingers in the icing and then before long was putting his mouth on it and going for the cake as well.  He sure is something, if I would have asked him if he wanted one, I'm sure it would have been a no but if he decides he wants something it's okay every time.  I let him have that for snack tonight, last night he had an orange by choice so those even out right?  We were reading a book with an orange in it and as soon as we pointed to it, he got up ran to the fridge and with the help of us opening the door he got an orange right out of the drawer. 

After he was done eating his cupcake in true Noah fashion, he realized he was a mess and quickly got upset that he had stuff on his hands.  He's like his momma, likes things clean!
